No child shall ever be left alone or unsupervised. The policy governing arrival and departure of children assures that a childcare staff member is aware of each child\u2019s presence at the center.<\/li>
\u00a0There is always immediate access to a telephone within the building. Monthly fire drill are conducted and exit plans are posted in each area of the building in the event of a fire or emergency weather alerts.<\/li>
First Aid kits are located in each classroom. Staff members are trained in First Aid, CPR, Communicable Diseases, and Child Abuse recognition is always present in the building. The Administrator and each employee of Exploring Excellence Learning Center is required by state law to report any suspicion of abuse or neglect to the proper authorities.\u00a0<\/li>
Use of aerosol sprays shall be prohibited when children are in attendance in the center.\u00a0<\/li>
In the event of an emergency the administrator and staff members will continue the program unless the center is out of ratio. Then the center will close early, and the administrator will call parents to pick their child up early.<\/li><\/ul><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Any parent of a child enrolled in the center shall be permitted unlimited access to the center during all hours of operation for the purpose of contacting their children, evaluating the care provided by the center or evaluating the premises.
